An Alexandre Pato double gave Milan all three points and possibly the Scudetto in a 3-0 derby win over bitter rivals Inter.

Pato opened the scoring in the first minute with a tap-in before Cristian Chivu dealt his sides' chances of a comeback a huge blow on 53 minutes when he was sent off for tripping Milan's goalscorer. The result was put to bed on 62 minutes when Pato doubled his and Milan's tally.

Substitute Antonio Cassano completed the rout on 89 minutes, coverting a penalty he won himself before the former Sampdora man received his marching orders in the 92 minute for a second-yellow card.

The result sees Milan increase their lead over Inter at the summit of Serie A to five points with only seven games to go.

The Rossoneri made a dream start to the 154th Serie A Derby della Madonnina when they opened the scoring after only 42 seconds. Gattuso slid a defence-splitting pass through to Robinho who failed to round Julio Cesar but managed to knock the ball into the path of Pato who slammed home from six yards out.

The game continued to fly by at a frenetic pace and Milan in particular were impressing. A strong claim for a penalty was turned down by the referee, Nicola Rizzoli on nine minutes when Robinho met Ignazio Abate's deep cross with a ferocious volley from 15 yards which was blocked by the arm of Maicon, but it was adjudged to be accidental.

Inter got their first real sight of goal on 19 minutes when Thiago Motta won the ball cleanly off Mark van Bommel before steaming forward and laying it off to Giampaolo Pazzini. The former Sampdoria man then powered past Gianluca Zambrotta before poking a low shot from 12 yards that was smartly blocked by Christian Abbiati.

The Rossoneri nearly doubled their lead on 37 minutes albeit with a slice of luck. Van Bommel struck a thunderbolt from 30 yards out which took a hefty deflection off Andrea Ranocchia, in the process wrong-footing Julio Cesar, but the ball cannoned off the top of the crossbar.

A minute later, the Nerazzurri thought they had levelled the scoring when Wesley Sneijder delivered an inviting corner which was met by the head of Motta on the six-yard line. 80,000 people in the San Siro believed an equaliser was inevitable only for Abbiati to somehow claw the ball to safety off the line, a wonderful save celebrated by the 'keeper as if he had just scored the winning goal.

The second period resumed at an exciting pace although in the 53rd minute, Leonardo's men were dealt a huge blow with the sending-off of Cristian Chivu. Pato was sent through clear on goal and with the Brazilian looking to lift the trigger on the edge of the box, the Romanian defender clipped his heels to send the Milan forward sprawling on the edge of the box. It left the referee with no alternative but to show the former Roma man the red card.

Thiago Silva blasted the resulting free-kick at goal but Julio Cesar parried the ball into the path of Kevin-Prince Boateng who could only fire high and wide of the goal.

Inter's hopes of a comeback were all but extinguished on 62 minutes when Milan doubled their lead. Clarence Seedorf found Abate in plenty of space of down the flank and his shot-cum-cross was headed into the empty net by Pato from six-yards out for his 11th Serie A goal of the season.

It was nearly three on 66 minutes when substitute Mathieu Flamini found Robinho, who turned Ivan Cordoba before hitting a powerful effort towards goal that was expertly blocked by Julio Cesar.

Milan continued to lay siege to the Inter goal and should have put the result beyond doubt on 72 minutes when the terrific Seedorf did well to dispossess Ranocchia before sliding the ball to Robinho who despite his quick feet, could not beat Julio Cesar as he turned the ball around the post.

Inter's night went from bad to worse when Javier Zanetti blocked off Antonio Cassano in the box on 89 minutes and a penalty was the oly outcome. The substitute stepped up to take the spotkick himself, calmly sending Julio Cesar the wrong way to give Milan a 3-0 lead.

Cassano was sent-off in the 92nd minute for a second yellow card for needlessly bringing down Cordoba in the final stages of the game.

Massimiliano Allegri's men travel to Florence next weekend to play Fiorentina while Inter are back at the San Siro midweek for their Champions League quarter-final against Schalke

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre (PTWC) has issued a Tsunami Warning for New Zealand in response to the above earthquake. The New Zealand Tsunami Expert Panel assessment is that this is a marine threat only for New Zealand. A Marine Threat means strong and unusual currents are possible in the sea, rivers and estuaries. No land threat is expected at this time.

The first wave arrived at the North cape at around 710 hrs and had an amplitude in the order of 15cm. It is important to note that, based on modelling, higher wave amplitudes are expected to follow over the next few hours.

Based on real-time tsunami modelling and comparison with historical events, the interpretation is that a minor land threat (i.e. wave heights just over 1 m) now exists in Northland between Ahipara and the Karikari Peninsula as well as in the Bay of Islands and the Chatham Islands. A minor land threat means there is a small potential for impacts on beaches in these areas. A marine threat (i.e. threat to the coastal marine area and small boats) remains in place for the northern North Island from Kaipara to Ahipara and south of the Karikari Peninsula to Gisborne. Unusual tidal surges may be observed in other parts of the country.

FAS restui Safee demi negara - Devan

“Walaupun pemergiannya itu satu kehilangan, pada masa sama ia membuktikan Persatuan Bola Sepak Selangor (FAS) dan saya selaku jurulatih dan pengurus tiada halangan untuk pemain meningkatkan karier mereka kerana pengalaman yang bakal diraih Safee tentunya berharga untuk skuad kebangsaan,” katanya.
Safee kelmarin mengesahkan bakal meninggalkan Selangor untuk memenuhi impiannya beraksi dengan sebuah kelab dalam Liga Super Indonesia (ISL) selepas segala isu berhubung penghijrahannya dimuktamadkan manakala pengumuman rasmi dan butiran lanjut mengenainya dijadual diumumkan FAS, esok.

Sehubungan itu, Devan berkata, penghijrahan Safee itu bukan satu kejutan kerana pengurusan FAS sendiri turut berusaha membantu penyerang itu merealisasikan hasratnya walaupun masih terikat kontrak dengan Selangor hingga akhir musim ini.

Ketiadaan Safee memaksa Devan mencuba beberapa gandingan baru di bahagian serangan tetapi itu bukan masalah besar buatnya kerana Merah Kuning mempunyai ramai pengganti berbakat seperti Amri Yahyah, Amirulhadi Zainal dan S Sritharan yang boleh digandingkan dengan Fadzli Saari.

Tak kisah harga Carroll

LONDON: Pemilik Liverpool, John W Henry menegaskan beliau tidak kisah mengeluarkan perbelanjaan besar buat penyerang Newcastle, Andy Carroll kerana kelab itu meraih keuntungan £15 juta (RM73 juta) berikutan penjualan Fernando Torres ke kelab penyandang juara, Chelsea.

Keputusan Reds untuk membelanjakan £35 juta (RM171 juta) ke atas Carroll, yang beraksi dalam musim sulungnya pada Liga Perdana Inggeris, mengejutkan ramai tetapi Henry berkata bayaran itu tidak membebankan kerana wang yang mereka dapati daripada penjualan Tor- res.


“Bayaran diterima daripada Torres bergantung apa yang Newcastle minta bagi Carroll,” kata Henry menjelang pertemuan malam ini menentang Chelsea yang mungkin menyaksikan penyerang itu membuat kemunculan sulung buat kelab barunya.

“Rundingan bagi kami adalah perbezaan daripada harga yang dibayar oleh Chelsea dan kepada Newcastle.


“Harga itu mungkin £35 juta (daripada Chelsea buat Torres) dan £20 juta (kepada Newcastle buat Carroll), 40 dan 25 atau 50 dan 35.

‘Saya tak khianat’

LONDON: Fernando Torres menegaskan dia bukannya seorang pembelot selepas penyerang Chelsea berharga £50 juta (RM245 juta) itu dituduh mengkhianati Liverpool.

Torres dijangka membuat kemunculan sulung penuh emosi buat Chelsea menentang bekas kelabnya malam ini hanya seminggu selepas melengkapkan perpindahan kontroversi yang mencetus rekod British dari Liverpool.


Pengurus Reds, Kenny Dalglish mengakui beliau kecewa dengan masa perpindahan Torres, yang diputuskan hanya beberapa jam sebelum jendela perpindahan ditutup.

Torres tidak berada di kemuncak prestasinya sepanjang musim ini dan meminta untuk ditukarkan selepas dia mengetahui minat Chelsea terhadapnya, menyebabkan beberapa penyokong dan bekas pemain mendakwa penyerang Sepanyol itu sudah merajuk berbulan-bulan lamanya.


Namun Torres tidak berganjak dengan pendiriannya yang penuh berdedikasi kepada Liverpool dan membidas sesiapa yang mengkritik caranya meninggalkan Anfield.


“Saya fikir ia tidak adil. Tidak masuk akal. Saya bermain tiga musim yang amat bagus di sana dan menjaringkan banyak gol,” kata Torres.

“Saya faham ia situasi yang sukar, terutama ketika jendela perpindahan, tapi saya perlu memikirkan mengenai karier saya.


“Setiap orang akan melihatnya sebagai satu langkah ke depan. Saya tahu perancangan Chelsea bagi masa depan, cita-cita yang mereka miliki dan apa yang mereka mahu raih.

“Mereka mahu membentuk sebuah pasukan hebat dan terus bersaing dengan Man Utd dan Man City untuk menjadi kelab terbaik di England dan bersaing merebut Liga Juara-Juara Eropah.


“Apabila saya berusia 45 tahun saya akan merenung kembali dan berkata saya benar-benar bertuah memiliki gambar saya sebagai juara.


“Saya menjelaskan perasaan dan jujur dengan setiap orang. Semuanya telus, perkara penting adalah bersikap jujur dan adil.


“Jelasnya mereka tidak mahu saya meninggalkan kelab itu, mereka cuba memujuk saya untuk kekal tapi saya memberitahu mereka saya sudah membuat keputusan.


“Saya tidak tahu bagaimana reaksi peminat tapi ia pasti mengejutkan jika saya menerima sambutan buruk.” Sepanjang tiga setengah tahun di Liverpool, Torres jelas mengabdikan diri terhadap Reds malah dia pernah mendakwa dia tidak akan bermain buat mana-mana kelab Inggeris lain.


“Saya tidak pernah mencium lencana Liverpool,” kata Torres. “Apabila saya dilahirkan di Madrid saya bukannya peminat Liverpool atau Chelsea. Saya seorang penyokong Atletico Madrid, mungkin itu satu-satunya lencana yang saya akan cium.

Rock tak minat kembali bergusti

DWAYNE “The Rock” Johnson berkata dia tidak akan kembali bergusti biarpun satu perlawanan buat WWE - namun dia berminat untuk untuk kembali bagi edisi istimewa Raw.

Johnson meninggalkan WWE pada 2004 untuk meneruskan karier berlakon di Hollywood tetapi peminat gusti berkali-kali memintanya untuk kembali bertarung.


Kecuali menyenaraikan bapa dan datuknya ke dalam Dewan Kemasyhuran, Johnson menjauhkan diri daripada dunia gusti.

Ia membuatkan peminat dan beberapa penggusti, termasuk John Cena, tidak berpuas hati.


Dalam halaman Facebook, The Rock menjelaskan mengenai pemergiannya dan persoalan sama ada dia akan membuat kemunculan semula.

Chelsea have officially completed the sensational £50 million signing of Spain star Fernando Torres from Premier League rivals Liverpool.

The 26-year-old World Cup winner was the subject of rumours and speculation throughout transfer deadline day, but has now put pen to paper on a five-year-deal at Stamford Bridge.

The transfer saga began in earnest last week when the Reds declined an offer from Chelsea and then rejected a transfer request from Torres, insisting the player would be required to honour his long-term contract at the club.

Despite this, negotiations between the clubs continued and a conclusion was reached on Monday, allowing the forward to undergo a medical and agree personal terms with the reigning league champions.

A statement on Torres' official website said: "Spain international Fernando Torres will defend the Blue shirt of Chelsea after joining the London club on the January transfer deadline.

"The striker has signed for the reigning Premier League and FA Cup champions for five and a half seasons.

"After Liverpool and Chelsea had reached an agreement, the player travelled down to London where he successfully passed his medical before agreeing personal terms. Fernando Torres then put pen to paper on a deal that will see the forward remain at Chelsea until June 2016."

Torres had joined Liverpool from boyhood club Atletico Madrid for a fee of around £25m in July 2007 and bagged 33 goals in all competitions during a stunning debut campaign.


The striker went on to play a total of 142 times and score 81 goals in three-and-a-half successful personal seasons on Merseyside.

Despite enjoying a close relationship with the club’s fans, a lack of trophies and the Reds’ inability to challenge for major honours haunted the player, who has long been linked with an Anfield exit to various destinations around Europe.

The fact he has joined another English club will be a bitter pill for Liverpool fans to swallow in a deal comprehensively becomes a new British transfer record.

Torres, who is yet to win a major honour in club football, has already amassed 82 caps for Spain, scoring 26 times.

Official: Liverpool Complete Club-Record Signing Of Andy Carroll From Newcastle United

Liverpool have officially completed the club-record signing of England striker Andy Carroll from Newcastle United.

After a sensational day of drama on transfer deadline day, the Reds have confirmed the 22-year-old has signed a five-and-a-half-year deal at Anfield.

The Reds were initially said to have made a £30 million bid for the player on Monday morning, which was promptly rejected by Newcastle.

A second offer of £35m plus add-ons was also initially said to have been rejected, but Carroll then decided to hand in a transfer request to force through the move and the North East club reluctantly accepted the proposal.

A statement on the club’s website said: "Andy Carroll has tonight completed his transfer from Newcastle United to Liverpool FC and signed a five-and-a-half-year deal that will keep him at Anfield until 2016.

"The club agreed a record transfer fee with Newcastle earlier in the day for the transfer of the England international striker.

"The deal was subject to the completion of a medical, which the player has now passed.

"Andy Carroll will wear the No.9 shirt for Liverpool."

The former Newcastle forward will be expected to team up with fellow new signing Luis Suarez, who has joined the club from Ajax, in a new-look strike-force under Kenny Dalglish.

Carroll has burst onto the scene in the Premier League this season, netting 11 Premier League goals in 19 games and scoring a hat-trick against Aston Villa in August.

WWE Royal Rumble: Alberto Del Rio Fulfills His "Destiny"

At last night's WWE Royal Rumble, Alberto Del Rio made good on his word and earned the right to fight for either the WWE Championship or World Heavyweight Championship at the biggest WWE show of the year, Wrestlemania.

It was somewhat surprising that Del Rio won, given that WWE so rarely gives a new guy a chance to shine. It seemed like all the momentum was with John Cena going into the event.

This Rumble reminded me of what the event was supposed to be. In the past, by past I mean 2006, the Rumble was designed as a way to take the guy on the roster who was on the rise and had the talent to be one of the biggest stars in the company, all they needed was that big push to get them over with the fans.

Often times WWE would use this event to get those guys over in a big way. Look back at some of the names that have won the Royal Rumble in past years. Guys like Shawn Michaels (1996), Stone Cold Steve Austin (1998), The Rock (2000), Brock Lesnar (2003) and Batista (2005) all got their big break by winning this match.

That's why the idea of John Cena winning this match never made sense. Sure, these days the WWE does a lot of things that make little or no sense, but they know that they need to create a lot of new stars. Cena doesn't need any help at all. He is by far the biggest star in the company and will continue to be protected more than anyone else.

Del Rio winning made perfect business sense. He has been the best part of Smackdown since he debuted last Summer. He had a great feud with Rey Mysterio, his promos are usually always great, his ring work has been really strong and he gets as much heat with the fans as anyone. All that he was missing was that big push to make him a larger-than-life heel character.

It looks like he is getting that push right now. I will say that I am a little worried that Vince McMahon and the writers will screw this up somehow since Del Rio isn't Cena or Orton he probably won't be booked in a strong way, like he is a real threat to the championship. We have seen them do this before with a number of guys.

But that's for future booking, and at least for one night WWE got it right. The right guy won the 2011 Royal Rumble.

Wolfsburg Coach Steve McClaren Ready For Life After Edin Dzeko

Wolfsburg coach Steve McClaren is confident that the Woelfe have what it takes to cope without star player Edin Dzeko. The prolific hitman left the Bundesliga side for Manchester City over the weekend and McClaren has made it clear that his players can no longer hide behind the Bosnia-Herzegovina international.

"My impression is that something has really begun to move within the team, also because of the transfer of Edin Dzeko. When you lose a top class player, your captain, someone who had a distinct impression on the success of the team over the past three and a half years, then the whole personality of the team changes," said McClaren on the official Wolfsburg website.

"It will be interesting to see if and how the players deal with the situation. To see if they take on the challenge and say: OK, Edin is gone. We disappointed in the first half of the season now we must pull together and do something about that.

"The players can now no longer hide behind Edin Dzeko. But we are not just talking about Dzeko here. In general the team can’t hide anywhere. There are no more excuses or alibis. What I can see is that the players are saying: It’s enough! We want to change something here."

Messi named Player of the Year

Messi was on a three-man shortlist with Barca team-mates Xavi and Andres Iniesta but, despite Spain's World Cup triumph, the Argentina forward came out on top in the voting.
He becomes the first winner of the FIFA Ballon d'Or, which merges France Football magazine's European Footballer of the Year prize with the FIFA World Player of the Year. The awards were based on the votes of the coaches and captains of national sides as well as global journalists.
Messi scored more than any other player in Europe's top five leagues in 2010, with 42 goals in 36 La Liga games, as well as finishing top scorer in the Champions League in 2010 with 12 goals in 12 games.
He totalled 60 goals for the year for club and country.
"To be honest, I didn't expect to win today, but it was already great to be here next to my two mates," Messi said as he accepted the award. "To win it makes it even more special.
"I want to share with all of my friends, my family, all the Barcelonistas and the Argentinians."
Xavi added: "This award is a triumph for the cantera and for the philosophy of the club. It is a moment to savour. We shall see what happens next season.
"My life wouldn't have changed with this award, and I will continue to play like I normally have. The Ballon d'Or remains in Barcelona and there is no problem with this."
Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho had earlier been named FIFA World Coach of the Year for Men's Football. Mourinho won Serie A, the Champions League and Coppa Italia with Inter Milan in the 2009-10 season and has made an impressive start to life at the Bernabeu.
In his acceptance speech, Mourinho paid tribute to Spain's Vicente Del Bosque and Barcelona's Pep Guardiola, who had been shortlisted for the award.
Speaking to Sky Sport Italia, he also reserved special praise for the players and staff at Inter.

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 31 (Bernama) -- For many Malaysian football fans the historic moment when Hassan Sani ran the length of the field to thread an exquisite pass to James Wong who swiftly scored the winning goal against South Korea that earned a slot for the 1980 Moscow Olympics, will remain etched in their memory forever.

The whole country rejoiced when Malaysia edged South Korea 2-1 on that night at the Merdeka Stadium although subsequently Malaysia boycotted the Moscow Olympics as a protest against Russia''s invasion of Afghanistan in December 1979.

On Thursday (Dec 29, 2010), after 30 years, there was a similar nostalgic euphoria in the country although this time around the action was away from the country.

The reason: Malaysia beat Indonesia 4-2 on aggregate after a two-leg final to win the AFF Suzuki Cup at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Malaysia had beaten Indonesia 3-0 at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil during the first leg final but lost 1-2 in the second leg final at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium.

Malaysia were a powerhouse in Asia back in the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s and early 80s while the likes of Datuk Ghani Minhat, Said Ahmad, Dali Omar, Mokhtar Dahari, Isa Bakar, R. Arumugam, Soh Chin Aun and Santokh Singh to name a few.

However, after the historic feat of the 1980 era which also saw Sabah''s two pillars, James Wong-Hassan Sani combination make an impact, Malaysian football took a turn for the worst in the 1990s 2000 era.

After almost 30 years in the doldrums, there was a ray of hope when K. Rajagobal was appointed the national coach in April 2009, replacing former coach B. Sathianathan, just a few months before the Laos SEA Games in December.

Against all odds, Rajagobal, a former Selangor stalwart, worked his magic to lead the national team to a historic gold medal feat in the Laos SEA Games in Vientiane after beating Vietnam 2-0 in the final.

The gold medal ended a 20-year wait in the SEA Games and the first won outside Malaysia as the previous gold medal won in 1989 was during the Kuala Lumpur SEA Games.

Apart from winning the SEA Games gold medal in Laos, the national team under Rajagobal also achieved a number of firsts before the AFF Cup, like beating South Korea 1-0 in a friendly and qualifying for the second stage of the Asian Games for the first time.

During the Guangzhou Asian Games, a depleted team moved into the second stage but lost 1-3 to Iran.

A string of good performances by the national team under Rajagobal, 54, saw the fans returning to the stadium in droves and during the first leg final, about 80,000 fans filled the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil.

The National Stadium was also filled to the brim when Malaysia played against English Premier League club Manchester United FC on July 18, 2009, underlining the fact that support from fans for good matches was still very much alive in Malaysia.

Rajagobal, who holds an AFC A coaching licence, comes with a history of having successfully turned average teams into winning material, especially when he led Selangor to the Premier One title in 2000 plus a semifinal appearance in the Malaysia Cup.

He also took an ailing Kelantan side to the semifinals of the Malaysia Cup during his first year with the East Coast side in 2001/2002 before being appointed head coach for the national Under-21 squad from 2003 to 2009.

Under his guidance the national Under-21 team qualified for their first ever Asian Cup final round.

A coach who strongly believes in discipline and teamwork, says the key to reviving the glory days of Malaysian football should start from the grassroots.

Rajagobal had cited three main factors for the revival of Malaysian football, namely developing the grassroots, develop the coaches and revamp the M-League to produce potential players.

"I and everyone knows that it will not be an easy task but I am going to give it my best shot," Rajagobal had said when he was appointed coach of the senior national team.

Fondly known as Raja to his peers like legendary Mokhtar Dahari during his playing days with PKNS and Selangor, the nippy striker who still plays in veteran tournaments throughout the country, has become the man with the Midas touch to revive Malaysian football.

Separuh Penduduk Eropah Memeluk Islam Pada 2050

Sebuah filem yang menayangkan selama 7 minit menarik minat hampir 10 juta pengunjung di internet untuk melihatnya. “Muslim Demographics” tajuk fielm tersebut, tidak ada gambar manusia, hanya berisikan teks berkisar jumlah bancian penduduk yang muncul berbanding dengan angka-angka data dafar yang lain, berlatar belakangkan warna hitam dan diiringi oleh muzik arab. Filem ini diakhiri dengan peringatan kepada penganut agama kristian agar bertindak menanggung “bahaya” pertambahan Penganut Agama Islam di Benua Kesatuan Eropah nanti.
Anak yang baru dilahirkan

Berdasarkan data yang dipaparkan, pengeluar filem tersebut cuba membuktikan bahawa budaya Barat akan terancam dan malah akan musnah pada jangka masa yang singkat. Contohnya, untuk mempertahankan jumlah orang dari kelompok budaya mana pun, semua jumlah kelahiran per keluarga harus berjumlah 2,11 peratus.

Menurut Pengeluar filem tersebut, pada tahun 2007 semua angka bancian kelahiran di negara-negara Negara-negara Kesatuan Eropa 1,38 peratus. Di Sepanyol sudah mencecah 1,1 peratus. Dalam keluarga Islam, semua angka kelahiran jauh lebih tinggi: 8,1 peratus. Di Jerman, sekarang separuh dari anak-anak yang baru lahir adalah beragama Islam dan pada 2027 separuh penduduknya adalah Penganut Agama Islam.

Filem tersebut menunjukkan gambar pemimpin Libya Muammar Ghadafi dengan kata-kata yang pernah diucapkannya. “Kami tidak perlu teroris atau pengganas, kami tidak perlu pengebom berani mati. Lima puluh juta orang Islam di Eropah akan mengubah benua ini menjadi benua Islam dalam beberapa waktu sahaja. Orang yang terdahulu tidak merasa takut akan pengembangan Islam di Eropah, sekarang mereka bakal takut kepada perkembangan Islam.”

Tetapi benarkah angka-angka tersebut? Jan Latten dari Biro Pusat Statistik (CBS) berpendapat lain. “Begini, pengiraannya salah, tetapi trend perubahannya adalah benar. Jumlah kelahiran anak muslim memang akan lebih banyak peningkatan tiga puluh tahun lalu. Tapi secara kuantiti tersebut bertambah. Saat ini dapat dikatakan sekitar dua puluh peratus anak-anak, ibunya bukan orang Barat. Tetapi kita tahu juga bahawa ibu yang bukan Barat ini tidak semuanya Islam. Hampir separuh memang mengaku Islam. Dari dua puluh peratus anak-anak yang ibunya bukan dari kalangan orang Barat itu, cuma separuh sahaja , sekarang sudah menjadi sepuluh peratus, adalah anak beragama Islam. ” kata Jan Latten

Konflik sosial

Minggu ini surat khabar Inggris Daily Telegraph juga melaporkan data bancian muslim di negara-negara Kesatuan Eropah. Jumlahnya pada tiga puluh tahun kebelakangan ini, bertambah dua kali dan akan mengalami pertambahan berlipat kali ganda lagi pada tahun 2015. Oleh kerana itu surat khabar tersebut memperingatkan, Jika tidak ada proses integrasi yang baik, akan menjadi konflik sosial secara besar-besaran pada masa akan datang.

Apakah hal ini menimbulkan kebimbangan ? Buat Amar Khalid, seorang mubaligh Mesir dan aktivis Islam, hal ini tidaklah membimbangkan. Dalam sebuah filem di Youtube juga, mubaligh ini terlihat menyatakan kegembiraannya yang murni atas bertambah pesatnya umat Islam di Eropah. Dalam sebuah ceramah dia mengatakan: “Perlu dimaklumkan bahawa jumlah muslim di Eropah sekarang mencecah antara 25 sampai 30 juta orang. Sambil tertawa ia menambahkan: “Muslim melahirkan anak yang bukan Eropah.”

Amar Khalid berpendapat, hanya dalam masa dua puluh tahun lagi, Penganut Islam bakal menjadi majoriti di Eropah dan berkemampuan untuk mempengaruhi kedudukannya dalam Kesatuan Eropah.

Hingga hari ini, masih banyak nubuwwat Rasulullah yang belum terjadi. Di antaranya sepenggal penyampaian Rasul dalam hadits ini,

Dari Abu Qubail berkata: Ketika kita sedang bersama Abdullah bin Amr bin al-Ash, dia ditanya: Kota manakah yang akan dibuka terlebih dahulu; Konstantinopel atau Rumiyah? Abdullah meminta kotak dengan lingkaran-lingkaran miliknya. Kemudian dia mengeluarkan kitab. Abdullah berkata: Ketika kita sedang menulis di sekitar Rasulullah shallallahu alaihi wasallam, beliau ditanya: Dua kota ini manakah yang dibuka lebih dulu: Konstantinopel atau Rumiyah? Rasul menjawab, “Kota Heraklius dibuka lebih dahulu.” Yaitu: Konstantinopel.
